Avoid Slamming Doors:

After a windshield replacement, avoid slamming doors. This prevents unnecessary pressure that could dislodge the glass or compromise the adhesive.

Keep All Windows Up While Driving:

If you’ve had a back window replacement, keep all windows fully up while driving on the first day. This prevents wind from pushing against the newly installed back window.

Avoid Car Washes:

3. Avoid Car Washes: Refrain from using automated car washes or high-pressure washing for at least 24 hours. This gives the adhesive ample time to fully cure.

Be Gentle with the Car:

Avoid driving over rough roads or bumpy terrains immediately after replacement. Excessive vibrations can affect the glass installation.

Wait Before Removing Tape:

If any tape was applied to secure the windshield, leave it in place for the recommended time, usually around 24 hours, to allow proper curing.

Leave Windows Slightly Open:

For a day or two, leave a small gap in your windows when parking to avoid pressure buildup inside the vehicle, which can stress the newly installed glass.
